Report a Missing Child
If you should happen to be the parent/family member of a missing child time is now working against you! Please follow the steps below to report your missing child or another missing child.

STEP 1: Report it to your local law enforcement agency or 911 IMMEDIATELY!!!!! DO NOT WAIT!
Law Enforcement needs to know if your child is missing so they can start searching for them. They would much rather be called even if the child is found right away or was just hiding. They WILL NOT be upset for calling them and your child was just hiding. You never know, they may not be hiding and may need help so calling them is VERY important!!! They like seeing happy endings any way they can get it! The longer you wait to report the child missing the greater chance of them getting out of the immediate area increases making the search much more difficult. Statistics show that most children that are abducted and then killed are most likely killed within the first 3 hours. Many times when the child is taken and found within the first 3 hours they are found alive...so timing is EVERYTHING!!

STEP 2: Contact us at A Lost Child!
After contacting law enforcement please contact us at A Lost Child so we can start distributing flyers and information via the internet. We will also assist with contacting other missing child web sites as well in order to quickly spread the word about your missing child. We want to get the word out quickly in order to help bring your loved one home! We will also give you suggestions of things that you may need to do if your child is not found within a few hours. None of us want to have a search that goes on for days, but many times it is necessary and we can help point you in the right direction to ensure that a proper seach is performed.

STEP 3: Contact your local TV media.
Your local TV stations are a great asset in helping to find a missing child. They can quickly get your child's photo and information infront of thousands of viewers that may aid in a quicker recovery of the child. If you call us about a child we will give you local listing information for your area, or if you fill out the form below you will be given information about your local TV stations that should be more than happy to help get the word out about the child.
